What is ZENALC?
I primarily started this blog for storing notes and sharing them online.
This blog will primarily focus on computer science and some mathematical topics. I strive to add an article every week for my own sake of grasping the material and also as a helping hand to others who may find my explanations easy to understand.
Who am I?
Mihir Shrestha – Software Engineer
Recent computer science graduate from Bridgewater State University currently working as a software engineer at Boston Lighthouse Innovations.
Particularly fond of algorithms and mathematics. In my free time, I like solving challenging problems on websites such as LeetCode and/or HackerRank, enjoy browsing Reddit, initiating or contributing to various open-source software, and working out primarily with calisthenics.
Main Interests
I am most interested in developing AI driven software that will aim to prevent and cure human disease. We’ve seen revolutionary change come about in the medical world from new tech in the past few years, and I’d wholeheartedly like to be a part of the next upcoming one.
My other main interests are artificial intelligence with neural networks and using them to predict future cryptocurrency values.
I also enjoy contributing to open source projects in my free time. My main project right now is working on Algobot, a cryptocurrency trading bot developed using Python and QT. It currently supports trading based on moving averages, RSI indicators, and stop losses. It also supports conducting simulations and running backtests.
Other than software, I have interests in cars, working out, looking up the newest health trends, playing videogames, and trying to understand the chaotic nature of the stock market.
